ACSDSD for Climate at ASEAN Regional Consultation Meeting (RCM) for the ASEAN Climate Change Strategic Action Plan 2025-2030 (ACCSAP)
On 19 August 2025, Dr. Anthony Pramualratana, Deputy Executive Director of ACSDSD, accompanied by Ms. Suchada Phruthonkul, Project Manager, attended the ASEAN Regional Consultation Meeting (RCM) for the ASEAN Climate Change Strategic Action Plan 2025-2030 (ACCSAP), organized by the ACCSAP Secretariat in collaboration with the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), at the Amari Bangkok Hotel.
The meeting was to gather recommendations from ASEAN Member States on the ASEAN Climate Change Strategic Action Plan (ACCSAP), and the ACSDSD’s representatives also had the opportunity to discuss regional cross-cutting issues and explored ways to integrate and harmonize strategic areas through participation in thematic tracks.

YALPI 2026 ASEAN Youth Leaders redefine sustainability with ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD)
The ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD), a regional hub for sustainability excellence, aims to elevate youth engagement and amplify emerging voices across ASEAN. In August 2025, ACSDSD featured the Young ASEAN Policy Initiative (YALPI 2026), spotlighting their efforts to redefine sustainability by linking it to inclusive development, sustainable economic growth, and human well-being, and elevating these youth-driven solutions to international agencies.

What is the impact of small-scale fisheries on sustainable development in ASEAN?
ACSDSD explored the link between Small-scale marine fisheries and development, to support ASEAN in alignment with the FAO, that adopted the Declaration on the Blue Economy in 2021 and endorsed the ASEAN Blue Economy Framework in 2023.Â
