ASEAN SDG Youth Camp: Leveraging Digital Innovation for the SDGs

The ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and Mahidol University will co-organise the ASEAN SDG Youth Camp 2024 under the theme Leveraging Digital Innovation for the SDGs.  The event will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on 3-9 November 2024.  

The project aims to bring together youth representatives from the ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste to engage in a week-long programme that seeks to enhance their understanding of the SDGs and exchange views on how to tackle and improve complex sustainable development challenges while examining how digital technology and innovation can contribute towards advancing the SDGs.

The programme will cover three main components:

1. Skills and knowledge development training to enhance understanding on the SDGs and the role of youth in SDGs implementation
2. Study visits at selected development projects to enhance understanding on digitalization for SDGs

3. Discussion and exchange of ideas on how to address the challenges and identify opportunities for enhancing sustainable development cooperation in ASEAN.
