The 2nd Meeting of the Governing Council
Governing Council of ACSDSD held its second meeting on 28 January 2021.
Chaired by H.E. Mr. Phan Chi Thanh, head of delegation of Vietnam, the meeting was held on a virtual format and joined by H.E. Miss Usana Berananda, Director General of ASEAN Affairs, MOFA-Thailand.
The meeting took note of the appointment of Mr. Narong Sasitorn as the Executive Director of the Centre, who presented the 2020 work report and the work plan for 2021 which covers a wide range of projects and activities which will be done in collaboration with partners. The meeting also endorsed the work plan and supported the Centre’s continued networking with SDG practitioners in the region.
The Governing Council will hold its next meeting in the second quarter of 2021 under the chairmanship of Brunei Darussalam, the Chair of ASEAN this year.
